The alleged gunman who authorities say targeted former President Trump during a golf outing in Florida on Sunday had previously posted on social media about the importance of this year’s elections, stating, “Democracy is on the ballot” and “we cannot lose,” mirroring anti-Trump rhetoric used by Vice President Kamala Harris and President Biden.

Law enforcement sources have identified the suspect as 58-year-old Ryan Wesley Routh. 


Routh, who has a long criminal history in North Carolina, often posted about politics and has consistently donated to Democratic candidates and causes since 2019. read more.....
